On April 13th, Instagram user p__karthik posted a version of the meme using the Vince McMahon reaction video, captioned, "When I finally kill the mouse in the kitchen and before dying, it says 'You care not for the small yet complain when your God grants you the injustice of similar apathy?'" The post gained over 207,000 likes in a month.
On May 6th, Redditor freakyrayquaza posted a version of the meme to the /r/BatmanArkham subreddit captioned, "When you finally kill the mouse in the kitchen and before dying it says: 'I thought we were hiding together from the cruelty of the outside word….. Now I see it lives inside you,'" gaining over 1,000 upvotes in a week.
On May 7th, 2026, Instagram user mousefinalwords, a page dedicated to the meme, posted a version of the meme captioned, "When you finally slay the mouse in the kitchen and he says: 'If she ever replies, visit my grave and tell me.
