Winnie the Pooh Celebrates 100 Years With $500 Cashmere Sweaters

Winnie the Pooh is turning 100, and the Hundred Acre Wood is getting a high-fashion makeover to celebrate.

Los Angeles-based fashion brand Re/Done has teamed with Disney on a four-piece Winnie the Pooh capsule collection, arriving Sept. 3 as part of the yearlong celebration marking a century since A.A. Milne first introduced the honey-loving bear in 1926’s “Winnie-the-Pooh.”

The collection puts Pooh and his Hundred Acre Wood crew across the denim label’s signature vintage-inspired silhouettes. The lineup includes the Classic Tee Pooh Friends and 50s Boxy Tee Oh Bother, both priced at $160, alongside the $495 Silly Bear Cardigan and $550 Storybook Crew. Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore appear throughout the collection in artwork designed to evoke the characters’ storybook roots.

The capsule arrives amid a wide-ranging centennial celebration that Disney has been rolling out throughout 2026. Random House released “Wonders of the Hundred-Acre Wood Treasury” earlier this week, while “Winnie the Pooh: 100 Mindful Moments,” a new book built around the character’s famously simple approach to life, arrives Sept. 22. Penguin Random House is also hosting anniversary events this fall, including an Oct. 10 celebration at the New York Public Library and programming across dozens of its local branches.

For Re/Done, the Pooh drop is the latest installment in a growing relationship between Disney and the brand. The partnership began last fall with a Mickey & Friends collection inspired by Disney artwork from the 1920s. A second installment followed in February with vintage-style shirts featuring characters from Disney’s Golden Age, including Dumbo, Bambi, Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. Earlier this year, the label also teamed with Disney and 20th Century Studios on a “The Devil Wears Prada 2” capsule timed to the sequel’s theatrical release.
