One of TXT Yeonjun‘s performances has once again become a topic of discussion.
TXT’s YeonjunTXT recently held their 2026 MOA CON events in Nagoya, Japan, during which Yeonjun performed a cover of “Rude” by Hearts2Hearts. The girl group’s song has gone viral on social media, so it was not totally unexpected.
Yeonjun put his own spin on the song, which many fans showed their appreciation for in the comments of reposted videos.
@junniescloudhe’s queening out #yeonjun #txt #choiyeonjun #hearts2hearts #rude

However, some felt that the idol “ruined” the song with his performance, criticizing him over it.

On the other hand, fans pointed out that he did not “boy group-ify” the dance, and even kept the lyrics the same as in Hearts2Hearts’ release. Yeonjun has also experienced much criticism over his own dancing style and performances, which some referenced in their defense of him.
yeonjun did the cover perfectly fine, didn’t masculinise the dance, didn’t even change the lyrics pronouns to she/her and ur still on his ass… u need to keep him out of ur mouth https://t.co/DsbI1pX4En

kpoptwt spends way too much time attacking idols doing harmless stuff like this instead of directing this energy to actually problematic idols and issues https://t.co/4oLJ3fIcDQ

what the fuck do you people want him to do? he didn’t masculinize the choreo, he was totally into it, all there is was his voice. because he’s a MAN. https://t.co/7pVlxeRMTP
