About
The 56 Meme, also known as the Fifty-Six Meme or Five Six Meme, refers to a forced meme that's a parody of the 67 Meme, largely based on a viral video from TikTok user YungJayJayy (@yungjayjayy_wrld) in October 2025, which had a text caption reading, "New Meme 56." YungJayJayy is a Black man, wearing a red Odd Future hoodie and a black durag, seen spazzing in his car like a stereotypical mentally disabled person. The video and the number 56 spread memetically in the following weeks, as users found 56 naturally in old tweets, among other posts, and referenced YungJayJayy's video. The 56 Meme followed the success of other forced 67 variants like 93 and 61. A TikToker named @bigslush21 first coined the 56 Meme in September 2025.
Origin
On September 16th, 2025, TikToker @bigslush21 shared a video in which he said, "Guys, I think it's time for a new number," to replace 67, and he suggested that the number 56 should be it. The video received 5,000 plays in two months.
Later on September 16th, TikToker @bigslush21 shared a video in which he reiterated that 56 should be the new number meme because it had the song "56 Nights" by Future. Over two months, his video gained over 30,300 plays and 600 likes.
