Overpass Collapses In Seoul, Rescue Efforts Underway

A collapse accident occurred at the Seosomun Overpass in Seodaemun District, Seoul.

According to Yonhap News, the collapse happened around 2:32 p.m. on the 26th at the Seosomun Overpass, which is under construction as commissioned by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

At least six people have been injured so far, and fire authorities are reportedly rescuing two individuals trapped.

A Seoul city official stated, “One side of the overpass has collapsed,” adding, “Rescue operations are currently underway.“
