Some moms, not all of them, tend to forget that once their children are grown up, they are entitled to make their own decisions and run their own lives without interference. Moms often think they know what's best for their children, even if their children disagree, because they've learned from their mistakes in life and know better than anyone else.

The problem with moms who think that way is that once they feel entitled to make decisions for their children, while disregarding their input, they end up pushing their children away from them further and further away, until almost no connection is left.

The mom below also struggles with boundaries when it comes to her daughter and her family, and she recently did something that crossed all boundaries, which may very well cost her the relationship with her daughter. All of that because of a simple tree.

You see, the daughter has a tree in front of her house, which Mom claims is blocking her view of the road and the upcoming traffic. Mom is so bothered by this tree that she kept demanding to cut it down. However, the daughter, her husband, and every single neighbor on the block claim that the tree is not a bother, and no one wants to deal with the hassle of cutting it down.

Yet, some moms simply believe that they know best, which led this Mom to decide to take matters into her own hands and simply cut the tree down herself. When she proudly walked into her daughter's house after she cut down the poor tree's branches… well… let's just say the daughter was not happy about the outcome. In fact, she was so unhappy that she decided it was time to set a firm boundary with her mom.
