MIRI, Nov 4 — The Sessions Court here today sentenced a man to three years behind bars and two strokes of the rotan for voluntarily causing hurt to his son using a machete.

The Section provides for up to 10 years in prison, or a fine, or caning, or any two such punishments, upon conviction.
