A Korean brand is facing backlash after netizens accused it of using AI-generated edits of BLACKPINK members’ photos for marketing without permission.
According to online posts spreading across Korean communities, brand Yunse allegedly took BLACKPINK’s viral Met Gala selfie photos and ran them through AI editing tools before reposting them for promotional content. The girls took a mirror selfie at the event.

Yunse ran it through AI, changing the girls’ outfits and slapping on the brand’s name.

The image was used as an invitation advertisement to their brand event.

The controversy quickly gained traction after netizens criticized the company for allegedly using the members’ photo commercially without authorization.
