A HYBE boy group’s latest comeback is facing harsh criticism after a viral post questioned its impact. On Nate Pann, a post titled “TWS came back but there’s no reactions at all?” quickly gained traction, sparking heated discussion among netizens.
TWS recently came back on April 27, 2026, with their 5th mini-album, NO TRAGEDY, featuring the title track “You, You”. The album showcases a more mature sound, incorporating genres like house and R&B.
The song has only hit around 7 million views on YouTube at the moment. Comparatively, TXT‘s “Stick With You” has 27 million views. Although it was released a week and a half before TWS’ release, it has almost 3 times the number of views.
Netizens claim that the song in itself is not great and doesn’t stand out.
| Nate Pann- Objectively from the POV of the general public, it’s not a song that will become a hit. The kids’ visuals have hit a peak, but they brought out an ambiguous song. “Overdrive” was good and they managed to make an impression with the public by doing the aegyo challenge with their handsome faces. But this new song doesn’t have any special characteristics and the challenge isn’t impactful at any part. I’m a 42 (fan) but they need to spend lots of money to buy a good song. This isn’t the kids’ fault… Pledis’ song choice is the provlem. I hoped that they’d hit viral with their VR, but why are they choosing such songs…
- The song is so-so.
- A group that just copies themselves.
- “Overdrive” hit the jackpot through the challenge, but I bet if you ask anyone to sing the chorus, they’d not be able to do it.
As the debate continues, the comeback’s reception highlights how quickly public opinion can shift, especially in a fast-moving industry driven by viral moments. No wonder more and more groups are putting out short songs with high focus on choreography that can be turned into a dance challenge.
