Hogwarts is getting a darker wardrobe. Ahead of HBO’s forthcoming Harry Potter series, premium lifestyle brand Blvck Paris is returning for a second time to the Wizarding World with a grunge-leaning take on Harry Potter merch. The line transforms familiar house codes and character references into an all-black collection that feels as suited to the street as it does to the Great Hall.
The collection spans ready-to-wear apparel and accessories, including a Gryffindor sweater, Harry Potter stationery kit, Slytherin teddy hoodie, 2027 agenda diary and pieces inspired by Draco Malfoy, Nagini and Sirius Black. Some styles are available to ship now, while others are available for preorder with a ship date of Oct. 30. Shoppers can also get 10 percent off their first order when they subscribe to Blvck Paris.
Blvck Paris is the French lifestyle label founded by designer Julian O’Hayon in 2017, built around uncompromising black-on-black visuals. For this second Warner Bros. collaboration, the brand extends that philosophy across apparel, accessories and stationery. Prices range from $60 to $275, with sizes XS through 3XL available through Blvck Paris and stores worldwide.
HBO’s new Harry Potter series arrives Dec. 25, with the eight-episode first season titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione and Alastair Stount as Ron. The ensemble also includes John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Snape and Nick Frost as Hagrid. Francesca Gardiner serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer, while Mark Mylod directs multiple episodes and executive produces the series.
