Social media star Yurinya produced Pretty Chuu as an idol group that “embodies the ‘strength,’ ‘transience,’ ‘innocence,’ and ‘pure maiden heart’ of girls.” Pretty Chuu made their stage debut on June 16 as a six-member group.

In August 2025, former member Amamiya Shuna reported that she had been raped and impregnated by Yurinya’s boyfriend, Saito Taichi. Yurinya released a statement condemning Saito’s actions and stated that she will be cutting ties with him.
