Moving out of your family home is a big deal. Although a newbie to the adult world may be spending so much money on rent that they “forget” to fill the fridge with groceries, nothing tastes sweeter than a young adult's absolute freedom. These days, fledgling adults are getting older and older when they move out, and it's not because they lack the desire to experience total freedom; it's because it's downright expensive. It's pricey to get a place on your own! And if you're following the old-school rules of a rental apartment that's ¼ of your monthly salary, odds are, you'll never get out of your parents' basement. 

Of course, unless you're as frugal as this sister, who made sacrifices for her savings account, she wasn't willing to throw away her future to save her sister from the consequences of her own poor decisions. 

A reckless sister always relies on their frugal family members to bail them out, but not this time.
