About
Jamaican Me Dinner Mom or Ja-Makin' Me Dinner Mom is an exploitable brainrot meme based on a scene from the 2015 sitcom Fresh Off the Boat in which the character Eddie (played by actor Hudson Yang), wearing a rastacap, says to his mother, "Jamaican me dinner mom," to ask what she's making for dinner. The scene originates from Fresh Off the Boat season one, episode 13, titled "So Chineez."
The scene went viral on TikTok in late April 2026 as the subject of brainrot edits. As a meme, the clip is often altered with filters and edited together with other brainrot videos, including the Spoony Spoonicus meme, to create absurd collage-like videos.
