Free-range mom blames a retail worker for their 5-year-old's public meltdown when the employee refuses to let the child rummage in the sharp tools bin behind the counter: 'The joy of retail'

A retail worker had to physically block a tantrum-throwing child from running behind the register where the shop stored all of the sharp tools; meanwhile, the mother stood by doing nothing, only for her to eventually blame the cashier for not intervening. 

Free-range parents are also the most entitled. By refusing to parent their own child, they essentially require the rest of the world to take on parenting responsibilities like scolding, teaching kids the rules of society, and sometimes even harder lessons. Entitled moms love the idea of hands-free parenting, but when their feral child runs into a stranger who won't yield to tyrannical toddler behavior, suddenly it's everyone else's problem. As it turns out, young children need a hand to guide them, which would ideally be their parents, but when the rest of the world is left to pick up the slack of protecting feral 5-year-olds, we're going to be witnesses to public meltdowns of biblical proportions. 

This retail worker was just protecting a small child running feral in their shop, but that earned them an earsplitting scream, a glare from a free-range mom, and an email straight to corporate to document their interaction.
