Recently, the idol was suspected of being in a relationship with influencer Yoo Ji Yoo, with “proof” in the form of couple items being listed in a thread. What began as rumors turned more solid when the pair were allegedly spotted visiting a wedding consultant, with a friend of Dowoon making the situation worse.

Many were angered by the idol’s lack of response, rather than his being in a relationship.

Now, it appears the idol has addressed the rumors himself.

In the early hours of May 28, Dowoon shared a simple text message on his Instagram account. In it, he said that nothing would happen to DAY6 and asked fans to ignore any negative news about him for the time being.
