  • My boss rants about the flights being too expensive. She refuses to fly economy and was laughing at people who do.

On half a million salary, owns. a house in a really locked down market (overpriced, and most desirable location) that is high $.

  • Had to had to hear my boss, and her obnoxious client make mockery of people who fly economy as they could "never" - while laughing.

  • Now my boss has European plans, ranting the tickets are 'far too expensive' and it would run them up well over $20,000.

  • I rolled my eyes, considering economy is about $1,000-$2,000 (which is pushing it).

  • The reason it's "so expensive" is solely because she refuses to fly anything other than business or first.

  • Her 16 year old son also travels all over the world, and it's business only. Same women who whines she doesn't "make much money" — which is BS, since -

  • I saw her tax document (415k), with a semi-retired husband. Pulling $4,000-$7,000 a day due to her profession.

  • Same lady who whips me to do x, y and z and doesn't care to raise my wage, and says "can't do that" what a joke.

  • F this job, and f corporate. F wealthy too.

  • Thongasm420 It's these people who can't make a pdf and then get mad when they ask other people to do it for them

  • HotChiTea OP Literally couldn't even operate the printer but that's why they're so filthy rich, they point the hand and tell you what to do. Helps that life always been on cheat mode as they were born into wealth.

  • A baby laying on its back on a pile of money

The boss, when she was a baby, was already swimming in wealth.

  • RubixRube There is something just so painfully entitled about the C-Suite and travel. I do travel once or twice per month for business. (I am a Department Director) I am always booked in economy, occasionally I have to share a hotel room. Recently as we are going through "difficult times" my per diem was cut from $50 to $20 (with the caveat that i could submit personal expenses if my per diem exceeded that for "business reasons". A business reason does NOT include being in a high cost area where

  • But I digress, while I am having a slumber party with a Coworker I have met once and trying to figure out the optimal way to feed myself on $20 daily, the VPs are flying first class, set up in suites and do not worry about per diem as they have corporate cards. It boggles my mind that if the VPs could fly business class, or perhaps get a standard room, Janet from Marketing and I's first introduction may not be trying to find out where the closest grocery store is so we can split a prepared salad

  • Blue_foot am NOT sharing a room with someone. Especially someone I don't know. Because then my "personal time" isn't really mine. And I have, in my younger years, had an uncomfortable stay with a weirdo co-worker who kept asking intrusive questions about my life.

  • OneWorld87 Lifestyle Creep - they could retire with a few years But instead Blast Money Out of the window

  • dth1717 1d ago . Yup, she'll spend 20k on a 5 hour flight but you ask for a .25¢ an hour raise????

  • HotChiTea OP Too much, can't afford

  • ThanosSnapsSlimJims Honestly, once you've experienced everything above economy, as a user I saw once said, it is really hard to go back to cattle class.
