Bears vs. 49ers Week 17 Live Updates, Highlights: Two of NFC's Best Battle on SNF

The Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers have clinched postseason berths, but their Week 17 showdown will still carry big playoff implications for both.

The No. 2 seed, NFC North-champion Bears (11-4) march into Sunday Night Football looking to keep its shot at the top spot alive. They'll look to do so against a competitive NFC West foe in the 49ers (11-4) looking to do the same.

San Francisco, the current No. 5 seed, will seek a big win at Levi's Stadium without star tight end George Kittle (ankle), opening more targets for Christian McCaffrey, Jauan Jennings and an active Ricky Pearsall (knee/ankle). And, for Chicago, Caleb Williams' banged-up offense will take the field sans wide receivers Rome Odunze (foot) and Olamide Zaccheaus (illness).
