Prior to this, on March 25th, 2026, TikToker @kiyotakaenthusiast posted a video encouraging fans of the series to change their profile pictures to images of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji on April 1st in celebration of the series' return, gaining over 38,000 views in a week.

On March 26th, the same TikToker posted another video encouraging people to change their PFPs to images of Ayanokoji on April 1st, gaining over 130,000 views in a week. The TikToker continued to post videos like this, including one on March 28th that gained over 760,000 views in six days.

On March 31st, 2026, TikToker @xefi_here posted a meme that calls people who aren't supporting the takeover "NPCs,": garnering over 1.4 million views in three days.
