aespa Giselle’s Response To Constant “New Face” Rumors Earns Mixed Reactions

Over the last year, aespa‘s Giselle has been the subject of comments surrounding her appearance.

Aside from those based on concern over her health, many body shaming comments about the idol have surfaced. In particular, accusations of her “changing” her facial features have been the most frequent.

Though fans have constantly defended the idol, rumors have persisted, leading Giselle to speak out against them herself.

On May 7, Giselle went live on Instagram and answered questions from fans, as well as directly responding to hate comments.

At one point, the idol was asked what she thought about people constantly saying that she had a new face. Giselle responded by saying that she thought it was “funny” that people believed something that would be impossible.
