What is the appropriate reaction to someone trying to cut you in line?

Everyone has to deal with line cutters from time to time. Whether it is at the grocery store cash register, at the airport, or even at a ride in Disneyland. People always think their time is more valuable than others and attempt to cut their waiting time short by squeezing themselves where they are not supposed to.

And it rarely goes unnoticed. When you patiently wait for your turn for something, it's hard to miss someone suddenly appearing in front of you when you know they were not there before. These line cutters are never as smooth as they think they are, which means that someone is going to call them out for trying to cut.

The parent in the story below, for example, which was posted on Reddit's r/EntitledPeople Subreddit, refused to let the entitled mother and daughter cut in line at the airport shuttle bus line. This parent was patient enough to wait for a shuttle that could fit all their kids and their luggage, so they were first in line for one. Until an adult mother and daughter decided that they were above waiting in line and decided to cut it by waiting for the shuttle bus right at the curve, thinking that they would go unnoticed.

They were wrong. As soon as the shuttle bus arrived, the parent stepped up and called them out for trying to get on the bus before all the people who were waiting behind them. It didn't take much for everyone there to realize what was happening, and for the now embarrassed mother and daughter to walk to the back of the line, where they belonged.

Is that the right way to handle a line cutter, or is there a better method to deal with people who think they are superior to others? Scroll down to read the full story and decide for yourselves. Just don't cut anyone in line who might be waiting to read it as well…
