What's truly impressive is the mental database these people carry around at all times. Not just store locations, but inventory. They know what just came in, what's about to go on sale, and which location still has the good stuff the other branches already sold out of. They have opinions about the lighting in specific dressing rooms. Strong ones. They've mapped the optimal route through every floor to maximize coverage while minimizing steps, and they could walk it blindfolded.

The relationship with their wallet, however, is complicated. It's not that they don't know they're spending money. They're very aware. They just have a gift for making it feel reasonable in the moment. "It's an investment." "I'll wear it constantly." "Do you understand how long I've been looking for a top in exactly this shade?" The math always works out, somehow, until it doesn't, and then there's a very brief and private moment of reflection before the next store calls their name.

The memes were made for exactly this person, the one whose friends stopped asking "how long will this take" because they already know the answer is a lie. The one who says "I'm just looking" with the confidence of someone who has never in their life just looked. The one who considers mall hours a personal schedule.
You know who you are. The mall certainly does.
