We didn't dance like we just didn't care, we truly just did not care. We just wanted to have fun! Getting crunk in the club with no video proof! Going to the house party and slow grinding to “My Boo” was the epitome of romance. Ahhh yes, those were the days. Was er'body, perhaps, getting TOO tipsy in the club? Perhaps, perhaps… But we had no cares in the world and they were putting caffeine in our spiked beverages! We weren't hurting anyone. Well, expect maybe our own physical health. But our mental health was… Well, probably not the best either. But at least we can look back on it now and meme. When in doubt, we can always go back to memes.

I can still remember the first time I grinded with a boy. It was 6th grade, and it was to the classic “Yeah,” by Usher ft. Lil Jon and Ludacris. I had to be hyped up by my friends in the bathroom beforehand because I was so nervous. The teachers were probably appalled by the dance moves, but honestly, thinking back on it, they were just dance moves to me. I was still very wholesome at that age. I was just excited to be asked to dance by a boy I had a crush on. We dated for two whole weeks! I allowed him to hold my hand between classes as he walked me to my locker. We kissed once, a peck on the lips, but only because we were dared to during a game of truth or dare in the middle of English class (it was almost summer break, the teachers did not care). Ahhh, what a wild time the early aughts were. Let's keep going down memory lane with these memes! I'm having a sick time.
