It was recently announced that long-term YG artist AKMU would be leaving the company.

Iconic Group To Leave YG Entertainment

After the news broke, netizens couldn’t help but compare the state of the YG Entertainment roster from the past to now.

After AKMU announced their departure, netizens noticed that the only artists left were BLACKPINK, who are only with YG for the group activities, TREASURE, WINNER, BABYMONSTER, and Korean rapper Eun Jiwon.

Netizens also shared shocking screenshots of the comparisons, explaining that YG had done it to itself due to mistreatment and poor promotions for the artists.

YG could have been the best kpop company to ever do it if only they knew how to take care of their artists… Their old roster was so fucking tea like they ruled kpop for a good while but im glad akmu is leaving that fuckass company pic.twitter.com/9RAuxEoYOq
