Texans vs. Steelers Live Updates, Score: Can Houston's Defense Shut Down Rodgers?

There's one spot in the divisional round left to decide as the 2025 NFL playoffs roll on with an AFC wild-card matchup between the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.

Aaron Rodgers and C.J. Stroud will meet inside Acrisure Stadium in search of their 13th and 3rd playoff wins, respectively. Rodgers and the Steelers will, happily, welcome the return of a motivated and refreshed DK Metcalf, back from a two-game suspension.

A battle of premier WR1s in Metcalf and the Texans' Nico Collins will give both defenses headaches, though Pittsburgh's challenge may be tougher to topple. Houston's vaunted defense, led by All-Pros Will Anderson Jr., Derek Stingley Jr. and Danielle Hunter, finished the regular season ranked No. 2 in scoring defense and first in total yards allowed; by comparison, T.J. Watt and the Steelers finished in the bottom half of the league in both categories.
