KOTA KINABALU, Nov 4 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a severe-level continuous rain warning for Labuan and several areas in Sabah, which remains in effect until tomorrow.

In a statement, MetMalaysia said the affected areas in Sabah are the Interior (Kuala Penyu and Beaufort) and the West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud).

“An alert-level continuous rain warning has also been issued, effective until tomorrow, involving two areas in the interior of Sabah, namely Sipitang and Kudat.

“The public may obtain the latest weather updates through the department’s official website and social media platforms, as well as the myCuaca mobile application. The MetMalaysia hotline at 1-300-22-1638 is also available for further enquiries,” the statement said. — Bernama
