Popular Male Idol Confesses To Visiting Female Idol So Often He Knew Her House Passcode

They’re besties for life.

A popular male idol is going viral after a surprisingly candid story about his close friendship with a female idol resurfaced. Soloist Somi recently shared a story from her JYP Entertainment trainee days involving AB6IX’s Lee Daehwi.

According to Somi, the two lived quite far apart at the time, but Daehwi would visit her house frequently, making the long trip just to hang out. Daehwi lived in Cheongdam, while she lived in Yeonnam. The two areas are on the opposite ends of Seoul. She would play pranks on him whenever he visited.

Somi said they lived far apart (JYP trainee era), but Daehwi always came to visit, so she was grateful. He knew the password & would let himself in. Her parents lived on 1st floor, Somi on 2nd. “Back in the day, Daehwi would go in and out of my house often. He lived pretty far from me, but he’d always come see me. I was so thankful that he came frequently. Back then, he’d always carry lots of cash around. When he’d go to the toilet, I would take out around ₩50,000 KRW (about $33.90 USD) from his wallet and as soon as he came out, I would give it back to him saying that he suffered coming the long distance and he should use the money as his taxi fare. I should’ve told him the money was his but I missed the timing.”

Because of how often he visited, Daehwi eventually became so familiar with her home that he even knew the door passcode and would let himself in. Even her parents ended up joining the hangout!  Somi explained that her parents lived on the first floor, while she stayed on the second. One day, her mom heard footsteps upstairs and rushed up, only to find Daehwi already inside.

“I got scolded by her mom once. Since I went over so often, I knew the passcode and would just input it to go in. I went in once, and her parents heard the movement and rushed up. Her mom screamed at me like, ‘hey! Lee Daehwi!’ but we ended up chatting about my worries together as three.”

The wholesome story quickly went viral, with fans loving the glimpse into their long-standing friendship.
