K-Drama Actress Admits To Breaking Off Engagement Due To This One Reason

Actress Ahn Moon Sook revealed that she once broke off an engagement because of religious differences. On the November 26, 2024, episode of Boss in the Mirror, Ahn revealed that she was once engaged.

She had even set the wedding date with the man, and their families had met up. She ultimately had to break things off despite loving him, as they had differences in religion.

“I once made a promise to get married. I had set a wedding date with a non-celebrity, and both of our parents had already met. But we ended things because of religion. He’s doing well now. I don’t want to talk about it for too long. After the breakup, it was incredibly difficult for me. My love life went into a blackout after that.”

Religion is indeed a huge part that can make or break a relationship. Ahn debuted in high school after being selected for the Miss Lotte pageant and worked throughout her early 20s as both an actress and a comedienne.
