Clock in, memes, clock out, sleep, repeat. Some weeks, to the hardworking employee, this is what their days feel like. But what if I told you it doesn't have to be this way?
With no gaps to unwind, breathe in the fresh air, or to take part in their favorite non-work hobbies, time can fly by in a jiffy, so it's up to the hardworking workers to force in some free time, even if that means foregoing their favorite part of the morning: Hitting snooze.
Mornings are a great time to buy back the hours spent at work. The world is quiet, half asleep, and hasn't gotten around to their email inbox yet. The same goes for those late late nights, when the world is knocked out and fueling up for tomorrow. Turns out, overworked employees can find solace in the wee hours of the day, fighting their own fatigue by escaping the world that creates it. Your sleep schedule isn't the problem; the biggest issue is being on the same sleep schedule as everyone else who's overworked, too.
Or perhaps there just wasn't enough caffeine in that weak cup of Joe this morning…
Lo and behold, the cycle repeats once more. So in lieu of feeling down or overwhelmed, stick to the goal of putting on a smile today. Whether or not you feel the aching burn of importance in the workplace or you're simply counting down the minutes until your next break, there's one thing that's sure to reward all of your hard work: Memes.
