Living in her mother's inherited house for 4 years rent-free gave this young woman a false sense of reality when it came to housing costs. When Mom finally set a deadline for her imminent move-out date, intending to sell the house that their family couldn't afford to keep, her daughter dug her heels in, claiming she'd made enough "renovations" to the property to warrant an immediate transfer of the deed with no extra expenses. 

These renovations, she claimed to slave over, couldn't possibly amount to the value of a half-million dollar house, and the mother was never going to just give her the home, yet the daughter's entitlement knew no bounds. Someone had to knock a bit of sense into her, hoping to prepare her for the sting of reality when she would have to find her own place to live. 

Now, with a stable job, a degree, and some money coming in, there's no reason this young woman couldn't fend for herself; she just didn't want to. Although her past was rocky and she was accustomed to having her family and friends take care of her bills and expenses, the deadline will undoubtedly come, and Mom will inevitably have to put a "For Sale" sign out front to sell the house.
