A Chinese woman has gone viral after revealing she spent nearly $1M USD on plastic surgery to resemble actress Fan Bingbing.

He Chengxi, a 31-year-old from a wealthy family in Shenzhen, reportedly underwent 37 procedures between 2008 and 2016.

She insisted doctors make her look exactly like the star, enduring many painful surgeries.

Her transformation brought her fame, earning her the nickname “Little Fan Bingbing,” as well as acting roles and TV appearances.

She even married a cosmetic surgeon who altered his appearance to resemble Fan Bingbing’s then-boyfriend, Li Chen.

However, everything changed after Fan Bingbing became embroiled in a major tax evasion scandal in 2018 and was effectively blacklisted in China. Following the controversy, He Chengxi faced online ridicule and her acting offers quickly dried up.
