Van impaled by guardrail in Kuching crash, passenger injured

KUCHING, Sept 26 — A passenger van was impaled by a roadside guardrail after crashing at a traffic light junction in Bandar Baru Samariang this morning.

See Hua Daily News reported that the incident occurred at about 7am today.

The van is believed to have lost control before crashing into the roadside barrier, causing the guardrail to pierce through the vehicle.

The van was carrying one female passenger at the time.

She sustained injuries in the incident and received initial treatment from paramedics at the scene before being taken to Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment. — The Borneo Post
