Origin
In 2021, artist Francesco Dezio released a painting of a woman with her hands held straight in front of her body, causing the light of the sun to cast a shadow shaped like her hands over her breasts, like a hand bra.
The art was posted by X / Twitter user @BrunoJasienski on March 31st, 2026, gaining over 103,000 likes in three weeks.
On April 15th, 2026, X user @Mery70_ posted a black-and-white photograph of a woman recreating the painting, garnering over 51,000 likes, 4,200 reposts and 11.3 million views in six days.
The post went further viral when, later that day, X user @byramonade quote-reposted it, writing, "this is why nonsexual nudity in art is peak," gaining over 450,000 likes and 6.2 million views in six days.
One of the earliest known redraws of the photo was posted by X user @raberu_ruru on April 20th, 2026, which replaces the woman with Reze from Chainsaw Man, gaining over 290,000 likes and 18,000 reposts in a day.

On April 20th, 2026, X user @IwachansArm posted a redraw of the image that replaces the subject with the character Jinx from Arcane, garnering over 66,000 likes in a day.
On April 21st, X user @Sleemonkv posted a redraw of the image with the character Uro Takako from Jujutsu Kaisen, garnering over 15,000 likes in under a day.
