The Mount Everest Trend, or, Mount Everest Ain't Got Nothing On Me, is a singing trend where participants sing the opening lyrics to the Labrinth song "Mount Everest," sometimes in another language and often changing the word "shit" to "nothing," comedically exaggerating the portion of the song where the vocalist sings, "Woop, woop, woop," several times in a row. The trend began spreading on TikTok in early April 2026 and continued to spread over the following weeks.
Origin
On April 7th, 2026, TikToker @sm1th_8 posted a video where two women sing the opening lyrics of "Mount Everest" by Labrinth in Spanish and make exaggerated "wooping" noises as the singer sings, "Woop, woop, woop," garnering over 33.7 million views in three weeks. It is unclear if this is the video that started the trend.

The trend continued to spread in April 2026 on both TikTok and Instagram Reels.
On April 14th, 2026, TikToker @larobenz posted a video where he does the trend with TikToker @lilversachi, garnering over 46.9 million views in two weeks.
