The Discipline Car Meme is an exploitable format used in a series of memes based on the video "Redlight" by YouTuber Max Forrest, in which a man stops his car at a red light, and the man in the car beside him starts pleasuring himself while staring at him. In March and April 2026, the video became the subject of dramatic edits where the word "discipline" is featured over the clip of the man pleasuring himself. As the meme evolved, it became the subject of more elaborate edits that replace the characters in reanimation memes.
Origin
On October 9th, 2013, YouTuber Max Forrest posted a video titled "Redlight" that gained over 1.9 million views in 13 years. The video is a comedy skit where a man stops at a red light, and another man who stops beside him starts pleasuring himself while staring into his car. The man tells him to stop, but he won't. He drives off, but the masturbator somehow appears in the backseat of the car.
On March 4th, 2026, TikToker @ultronsfeet67 posted an edit of the video in which the word "Mentality" is captioned at the top and the word "discipline" is captioned on the bottom, garnering over 2 million views in about two weeks.

The Discipline Car meme went viral on TikTok throughout late March and April 2026 as it spread on the platform, and users made additional variants recreating the scene.
On March 31st, 2026, TikToker @jedel_1 posted a video that recreates the meme with Minecraft characters, garnering over 798,000 views in three weeks.
