Who's the most popular Disney princess of all time? I know this might be a controversial opinion, but I think that Elsa might still be in that top spot. She's so popular that Disney didn't even package her toys with the rest of the Disney Princess toys because they knew she'd make more money on her own, and they were right! Before Frozen came out, the moviegoing audience probably thought that they made a movie with two princesses so they could sell twice the toys, and they're half right on that. Elsa's merchandise probably generated $20 billion in 2014 alone, while Anna's merchandise has likely earned Disney enough to buy two meatball subs in Midtown Manhattan.
