RIYADH, Nov 7 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, expressed his gratitude for a smooth four-day state visit, beginning Monday, to Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty expressed this to the Saudi Arabian government for receiving His Majesty’s arrival and providing excellent hospitality.

“I greatly appreciate the meaningful and friendly conversation with Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia), which reaffirmed our desire to continue strengthening the successes we have achieved together over the years.

“The knowledge, spirit, and vision of Prince Mohammed in transforming Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030 are quite inspiring to me,” His Majesty said through Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s official Facebook page.

His Majesty also hoped that relations between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia would continue to strengthen in all aspects.

Sultan Ibrahim departed for Bahrain yesterday after concluding his visit to Saudi Arabia.

The special aircraft carrying His Majesty departed from the Royal Terminal, King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh at 2.23pm local time (7.23pm Malaysian time).

The visit made history as the first state visit by a Malaysian monarch to Saudi Arabia in four decades since the late Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah’s official visit in 1984.
