Meanwhile, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency filed an arrest warrant against Bang Si Hyuk on charges of fraudulent illegal trading, alleging he pocketed around ₩200 billion KRW (about $136 million USD) in illicit gains. His legal team has since responded, expressing regret that a warrant was sought “despite having sincerely cooperated with the investigation over an extended period,” and pledging to “faithfully engage in all forthcoming legal proceedings.”
