KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 — Police are investigating an incident involving a disabled teenage girl who alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a classmate in the restroom of a secondary school in Cheras here on Tuesday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus, in a statement, said that a police report had been lodged regarding the incident.
“Investigations are ongoing,” he said in a statement today.
It is understood that the incident was discovered by the victim’s mother after the 16-year-old girl informed her that a male student had pulled her into the restroom and then sexually assaulted her.
The victim, however, managed to escape and leave the school premises before reporting the incident to her mother. — Bernama
