NCT DREAM‘s recent variety appearance has sparked mixed reactions.

Recently, NCT DREAM returned with “Beat It Up” and have been promoting the track in various ways.

The group recently appeared on “Idol Human Theater,” a popular variety program, where they respond to prompts a little differently than those on usual programs. The show’s staff also play a part, usually responding in sassy or sarcastic ways.

At one point during the video, the question of what they would do if they spotted their friend being cheated on by their partner. When thinking about if to tell them or not, Mark responded absolutely that he would, while Haechan said he would not.

Haechan said he did not want to “get involved in a messy situation” to explain his reasoning, with Jeno defending the logic of not getting involved in the friend’s relationship.

Chenle offered mixed feelings on the situation, saying his dad cautioned that getting involved might not be best, with Jeno reasoning telling the friend might cause problems in the friendship. Jaemin resolutely says he would tell no matter the outcome, saying if the friend cut him off then that is just what would happen.

No but I seriously agree with Jaemin’s stance on cheating and I salute him for being so firm on it because if my friend’s a cheater they would no longer be my friend fr. And i’m glad he said all that even when the rest looked tired of hearing about it
