About

The Tom Brady Accidental N-Word Drop, also known as the Tom Brady Racial Slur Slip, refers to a November 2025 clip of former NFL quarterback and current FOX Sports analyst Tom Brady saying what many online thought sounded like the n-word during the coverage of a Philadelphia Eagles-Dallas Cowboys game. Brady stumbled over saying the name of Eagles player Landon Dickerson by accidentally saying, "Nickerson," referring to Eagles player Parry Nickerson. Brady says, "Nicker-" in the clip, cutting himself short. He then says, "Excuse me," before correctly saying, "Landon Dickerson."

The clip went viral on Twitter / X and Reddit, among other social media sites, on that day, inspiring memes and viral posts that joked about the blunder. Some memes spread the idea of Brady possibly getting fired from his FOX Sports position over the clip.
