SEPANG, Nov 14 — Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) will halt night services for the Aerotrain at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) from tomorrow until December 15 to address reliability issues.
MAHB managing director Datuk Mohd Izani Ghani said the plan aims to improve the Aerotrain’s reliability through a structured programme designed to strengthen the system’s performance as it approaches the end of its defects liability period, the New Straits Times reported.
“Starting tomorrow, we will implement this action plan, and the train service will be stopped temporarily between 9pm and 7am the next day,” he was quoted as saying at a media briefing today.
“During this period, bus services will operate fully to ensure seamless passenger flow between the terminal building and the satellite terminal and vice versa.”
