After leading the New York Knicks to their first NBA championship in more than half a century, Jalen Brunson will add another accomplishment to his career highlights this fall: Saturday Night Live host.

Brunson is set to host the Sept. 26 season premiere of SNL and will be joined by musical guest KATSEYE. He’s the first athlete to host the show in more than three years (Travis Kelce was the most recent one, in March 2023) and the first active NBA player to take center stage at studio 8H since LeBron James back in 2007.

Dakota Johnson (Oct. 3) and Shane Gillis (Oct. 10) will each host SNL for the third time in the fall. Johnson will be joined musical guest Turnstile, and Rosalia will be the musical guest for Gillis’ episode. The season-opening run continues Oct. 17 with Obsession breakout Inde Navarrette making her debut as host and musical guest Gracie Abrams.

So far, at least, it’s looking like the cast of SNL will be fairly stable — at least compared to the sizable overhaul prior to season 51 last year. Chloe Fineman announced her departure from the show in July after seven seasons, and writer and occasional performer Martin Herlihy left after five seasons.

The full list of hosts and musical guests for season 52 of SNL is below. This story will be updated as more shows are announced.

Sept. 26: Jalen Brunson, KATSEYE
Oct. 3: Dakota Johnson, Turnstile
Oct. 10: Shane Gillis, Rosalia
Oct. 17: Inde Navarrette, Gracie Abrams
