On April 21, 2026 (KST), Song Seunghyun took to social media to announce that he and his wife are expecting their first child. Posting an ultrasound image, he wrote, “See you soon, our little sunshine,” revealing the baby’s affectionate nickname.

The ultrasound photo quickly drew attention, with fans noting how clearly the baby’s features could already be seen.

Song Seunghyun first debuted in 2009 as the guitarist of FTISLAND, gaining recognition as part of the popular band during its peak years. In 2019, he left the group after his contract with his agency expired. Following his departure, he pursued acting before making a major life decision in 2024—announcing both his marriage and his retirement from the entertainment industry.

Since then, Song Seunghyun has relocated to the United States with his wife, where the couple reportedly runs a food business.
