Lizzy debuted in 2010 as part of After School and gained more popularity as part of the unit Orange Caramel, alongside Nana and Raina. By 2011, she also tried her luck at acting—and was well on her way to becoming a successful idol-actress. But in 2021, her career came to a full stop after she rear-ended a taxi and was fined ₩15.0 million KRW (about $10,400 USD) for driving under the influence of alcohol.
