Female K-Pop Idol Speaks Out On Dating Rumors With Famous Soloist

A K-Pop girl group member was caught up in dating rumors with a famous Korean soloist, and now she’s speaking out about them.

On the 22nd, a video titled “How rumors spread in this industry | Anyway, I came to talk” was posted on YouTube.

In the video, SISTAR member Soyou mentioned the time when the dating rumors with Lim Young Woong surfaced. In the studio, someone reacted, “That was way too strong.”

Soyou explained the situation at the time: “We ran into each other at the airport, greeted each other with ‘Hello,’ then I was organizing my luggage with my staff and went to a barbecue restaurant. The owner told me, ‘They’re there.’ Since we had already greeted at the airport and I thought it might be uncomfortable if I went over, I didn’t go. I didn’t even see the end of it.”

She continued, “The owner posted that Lim Young Woong and I went to the same barbecue place on the same day. Then they deleted either me or Lim Young Woong from the post, which made things even weirder. Why delete it?” she said, making everyone laugh.

She added, “It was no joke back then; there were so many articles… I actually wanted to clarify, but felt like I shouldn’t even mention Lim Young Woong’s name,” drawing sympathy.

Finally, she recalled, “Thankfully, Lim Young Woong came forward and clarified,” bringing the dating rumors to an end.
