The 2001 liner began his military enlistment reportedly due to “boredom” after attending college. According to some fan sources, the idol studied in the Media, Visual Art & Advertising department at Sangji University, and graduated with a degree.

After his enlistment, Jeongwoo pursued his first love, acting, and appeared in O.WHEN‘s music video for “all of my love” in July 2025.

Not long after his acting debut, Jeongwoo decided to become a trainee and joined Universe League, having completed just three weeks of training. The idol picked up things quickly, however, and was able to achieve 7th place in the show overall and make his debut as a member of AHOF.
