About
Jaylen Brown's Fake Hairline, also known as Jaylen Brown's Hair Dye, refers to a series of memes and viral posts about professional basketball player Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics NBA team using hair dye to darken his hairline. Following an October 2025 game against the New York Knicks in which Brown's hair dye rubbed a black smudge onto the jersey of Knicks player OG Anunoby, Brown became the subject of jokes on NBA Twitter / X.
Brown's hair dye rubbed off on two more players during games in the following weeks, including a clip of Washington Wizards player Kyshawn George getting a black smudge from Brown's head on his undershirt and Boston announcer Brian Scalabrine, saying, "Oh no, Jaylen Brown got another victim," live on the broadcast. During the initial wave of the viral memes, Jaylen Brown held a livestream in which he light-heartedly confirmed the rumors.
