After several years of dating, a singer-actress and a younger male actor are officially a married couple.

Jin Sha (also known as Kym) is a 45-year-old Mandopop singer and actress who entered the entertainment industry in the early 2000s. Since 2022, she has publicly been dating a fellow star, 25-year-old actor Sun Cheng Xiao. Both are currently cast members on the variety dating/romance show Viva La Romance 2026.

When their relationship first became public, the couple reportedly faced online skepticism and criticism due to their age difference. Some believed the romance wouldn’t last, but for the past four years, Sun and Kym have been proving their critics wrong. They began guesting on variety shows together in 2023, and in December 2025, Sun proposed to Kym on Iceland’s Diamond Beach.

Now, the couple has officially tied the knot. On April 9, they confirmed their marriage on Weibo with wedding registration photos. They reportedly registered their marriage on February 13 in Beijing, China.
