Despite already maintaining a slim figure, actress Kim Sa Rang has revealed she’s struggling to lose what she calls her “most stubborn” weight, and is now committing to a strict new diet plan.

The 108-pound (49-kilogram) star shared the update in a recent YouTube video, where she opened up about the unexpected challenge of shedding her final five pounds (two kilograms).

While interacting with fans, Kim Sa Rang came across a comment asking her to step on a scale—prompting a candid admission. Determined to finally reach her goal, the actress declared she would use this moment as a turning point, setting a target to drop the remaining weight she’s been unable to lose.

What drew even more attention, however, was the diet method she revealed. According to Kim Sa Rang, her approach is both simple and strict: eat lightly during the day—such as yogurt and mushroom rice for breakfast—and completely cut off food after 5 PM. Following this routine, she claimed, can result in losing up to two pounds (one kilogram) per week.

If you stick to it for one to two months, you won’t gain weight easily afterward, even if you start eating a bit more.

Even fans were surprised by the intensity of the plan, especially given her already slender frame. Still, Kim Sa Rang appeared motivated, even teaming up with her producer—who also has weight-loss goals—to keep herself accountable.
