In early April, viral allegations surrounding Haechan and a non-celebrity’s alleged relationship circulated. The proof of the allegations that were spread included alleged couple items, as well as a supposed date that was covered with another person’s inclusion.

More reactions have followed centered around his alleged girlfriend’s posts.

A netizen pointed out that the luggage Haechan carried out during his return matched luggage posted on her account, down to the stickers.

Other alleged “evidence” including her posting an image that included the cardigan Haechan apparently was wearing, also has spread online.

While idols have often been criticized for dating, the criticism over this “evidence” seems to be directed at the posts “hinting at” or “showing off” the relationship. Many comments mentioned this, criticizing both the alleged girlfriend and Haechan.

It’s kind of pitiful that she’s getting hate so excessively, but every time they’re together, the girlfriend keeps posting Instagram stories, and every time the boyfriend goes on dates, he basically reports everything to fans like a detailed course itinerary (except for mentioning she was accompanying him).
